What is accessible Web design?

A Web Site is accessible when it can be understood by everyone, regardless of what browser or adaptive equipment he or she may be using. Creating a new Web site that is accessible, or making your current Web site accessible, is easy and benefits everybody.

This seminar was created to help Penn State Web developers and faculty develop, adjust, or adapt Web based course materials so that they are accessible, and to raise both faculty and staff's awareness of disability issues as they affect teaching and learning with technology.
