Two Color Blindness Filters

Iin my personal blog I wrote a about a Photoshop CS4 color blindness filter which lets you simulate how a color blind user might see an image.

Today I saw an entry about a "reverse" filter for color blind users. This Seekey filter is just a red lens and a green lens. If you put one of the filters up (e.g. before a printers LED lights) it will block one of the two lights. For example, suppose you were looking at the LED buttons on a printer and you needed to see if one of them was red (an error) still green (OK). You could use the red filter to block the red light. The one that goes "dark" is probably red and shows where the problem is.

Thought it was an interesting design problem with a creative design solution.
